The pythagorean theorem is about knowing two sides of a right angled triangle and calculating the last and longest side called the hypotenuse. Without using a ruler. First you have to measure on side of the triangle for example 5 cm. Then you have to measure the next side for example 6 cm. Now you have to square the two numbers, 5 squared is 25 and 6 squared is thirty. Now all you have to do is add those two numbers and thats the hypotenuse.
