Fish

Fish have gills and they can only breathe underwater. Fish are amazing creatures and they can vary in many different colours. Some fish are fierce such as sharks, and some fish are gentle such as dolphins. There are many different types of fish and even some that we have not discovered yet, deep in the dark depths of the Oceans. There are some weird fish such as fish with lights dangling down their heads and fish which their mouth is bigger than their bodies! Different types of fish have different types of ways to catch their prey, Angler fish catch their prey by using the light dangling on their heads to attract their prey and the Great White Shark well use their ferocious teeth and speed to catch their prey

Volcanoes

Volcanoes are heated rocks and molten Magma. The magma insde the volcano can be aroud 3000-10,000 degrees celcius. The average height of a volcano is about 1500 to 2000 feet and the Magma inside is 1500 degrees celcius. Magma often collects in Magma chambers and is made of molten rocks. Besides molten rocks Mama can also carry suspeded crystals. A great example of Magma carrying suspended crystals is at Hanging Rock. If you have not been there its a great place to find crystals, because once Magma used to flow through there. If you do go there crack some rocks open and sometimes you can see the different layers as to where the magma had flowed, and there might even be crystals too. Scientists think that an underground Volcano in Yellowstone is going to erupt and kill us all, I dont think its true so don't let it bug you. The volcano at Yellowstone is called a super volcano and 3300 square miles big.

 Prank 1. What You Will Need: A spider (real or fake) A creepy DARK room and yourself. 


First get your spider and go inside a DARK room and wait until somebody comes in the room. Before they switch the lights carefully put the spider on the victim and shout BOO!!!!!! Your victim should get a scare and then the spider should fall of the head and the victim should get a double scare!!!



Prank 2. What you will need: A coin a funnel a victim and a glass of water.


First put the funnel slipped on you pants and put the coin on your chin and pretend that you are playing a funny game by trying to put the coin into the funnel slipped into your pants. When your victim comes say "want
to have a shot?" The victim should say yes but if they don't try on another victim. After you get the victim to play, slip the funnel  in their pants and then.... POUR THE WATER IN!!!!!! Run straight away and hide.

Hanging Rock Australia

Yesterday on the 12 of November me and my family went to Hanging Rock. It was great there! We had to climb really tall rocks to reach the Summit. The view is great when you reach the the top, you can see farms forests and grass. I collected some rocks that had shards of diamonds in it, my sister did the same too. After we climbed hanging rock we went to the history museum to learn about the history of Hanging Rock. Hanging Rock was formed by a unique magma explosion, usually the magma had to form a mountain first, but this one didn't. It just exploded without warning. As soon as it touched the air, the magma froze and turned into stone. Now people from all over the Australia come to see the rocks that ad been formed by lava.

How to measure the Area of a Trapezoid (Trapezium)

1. First you have to split the shape into two Triangles and one Rectangle.

2. Calculate the are of the two Triangles, to measure the Area Trapezium you must first combine the two triangles then measure the base of the triangle then  you have to  divide it by two. Then you have to measure the height. Multiply the two answers together.

3. When you have calculated the area of the  triangle, calculate the area of the rectangle(multiply the height and the length)

4.Add the two answers together and there you have it. The Area of a Trapezium!

Platinum

Platinum is a mineral of metal and it is very valuable. It is worth about 1443 USA dollars per Ounce. Platinum was first discovered in the early 1700sIt was first used to produce artifacts; it was also used in European writing in the 1900s. Platinum is one of the rarest metals to be found in the earth's crust, it also has a resistance to corrosion which makes it a non-toxic metal.
 Platinum is used in laboratory equipment, electrical contact and dentistry tools. Platinum compounds can be used to fight certain types of cancer. It is usually found in South Africa. Being a heavy metal, it leads to health issues upon exposure to is salts or materials.
